INSTRUCTIONS FROM THE ORGANIZING COMMITTEE FOR THE DAY OF<\/p>\n\n\n\n

EVENT ON WEDNESDAY MAY 24, 2023<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Organizing Committee of the Living Forces of Guinea (FVG), faced with the extreme weariness of the populations and the disgust of public opinion at the CNRD’s strategy of terror, threats and intimidation, is launching an appeal to a national upsurge to civil society organizations, trade unions, political parties, women’s and youth movements, socio-professional organizations. associations of artists, academics, students and to all our compatriots who love freedom and justice, to mobilize massively for the success of the peaceful and civic demonstration planned for this Wednesday, May 24, 2023 in Greater Conakry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This demonstration aims to demand from the CNRD and its government the opening of a fruitful and credible political dialogue under the presidency of ECOWAS, the release of political prisoners and the rapid return to constitutional order, in accordance with the commitments made on 5 September 2021 by the President of the transition, Colonel Mamadi Doumbouya.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In order to prevent any attack on the physical integrity of individuals, the Committee<\/p>\n\n\n\n

of the Forces Vives of Guinea:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Calls on the people of Guinea to mobilize peacefully, everywhere in Greater Conakry, to express their total opposition to the killings of pro-democracy activists, to the judicial harassment of leaders of civil society and political parties, while demonstrating responsibility and vigilance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
